Doylestown Health & Penn Medicine Cancer Care Pavilion

Doylestown, PA

Norwood delivered a 32,000-square-foot, three-story cancer care expansion on behalf of a partnership between Penn Medicine, Doylestown Hospital, and a private developer. Engaged more than a year prior to groundbreaking, Norwood provided preconstruction planning, budgeting, and coordination services to align the clinical vision, technical requirements, and development goals of the partnership.

The new facility expands The Cancer Institute of Doylestown Hospital, introduces community physician offices, and establishes Penn Medicine’s Department of Radiation Oncology within the campus. Designed as a welcoming and highly specialized care environment, the building features a dramatic two-story curved glass atrium and houses a linear accelerator with associated radiation treatment capabilities. The project enhances access to advanced oncology services while creating a patient-centered setting that integrates cutting-edge technology with thoughtful architectural design.
