Reinforcing its long-term commitment to growing its headquarters, Power Home Remodeling is partnering with Norwood Construction Services on a 65,000 square foot addition to the company’s existing footprint. At the heart of the project is the adaptive reuse of Turbine Hall, transforming a historic masonry-built, coal-fired power plant into a vibrant modern office and amenity space while preserving its architectural heritage. The project embraces the building’s industrial character, highlighting its 65-foot ceilings, mezzanine, and monumental scale, while integrating contemporary design elements to support a dynamic corporate environment.
Once complete, the reimagined interior will feature open-plan workspaces, collaborative lounges, food service areas, and dedicated training rooms to accommodate the company’s weekly workshops and leadership programs. A centerpiece of the redevelopment will be a 600-person auditorium with full theatrical capabilities, purpose-built for large-scale training sessions, conferences, and company-wide events.
Our team is providing comprehensive BIM coordination to align architecture, structure, and building systems in a highly complex adaptive reuse environment, while carefully managing construction activities within an actively occupied environment to ensure uninterrupted daily operations.
