Puratos

Norwood partnered closely with Puratos, a global supplier in the bakery and chocolate sector, to support its production expansion plans. Our team successfully converted a 60,000 square foot warehouse into a manufacturing facility for the production of proprietary creams and glazes using ultra-high temperature (UHT) technology. The project consisted of removing and reconstructing a portion of the building at a higher elevation to accommodate the height of the production tanks, constructing GMP rooms with IMP walls/ceilings, installing various mechanical systems for production (boiler, chiller, cooling tower, RO water, compressed air, process waste lift station, HVAC, etc), installing over 20,000 linear feet of piping, and an office renovation. All work was completed seamlessly, with no disruption to ongoing operations.
