Wayne, PA
Serving as construction manager, Norwood completed the comprehensive redevelopment of 530/580 Swedesford Road by connecting two office buildings to create one larger, fully modernized facility, now known as CrossPoint at Valley Forge. The 275,000 square foot project included a new precast and curtainwall façade, a connector addition featuring a 2-story lobby, fitness center, café and covered parking along with upgrades to the electrical, fire alarm, elevators, and HVAC systems.
The LEED Gold certified building is anchored by an 85,000 square foot headquarters for Teleflex, a publicly-traded global medical device company. Norwood constructed their tenant fit-out along with many other tenants who now occupy the building.
The project received an Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Eastern PA Chapter.
