Norwood has been the lead construction manager for the comprehensive repositioning and build-out of this 700,000 square foot campus, which was formerly a manufacturing and regional administration facility for Honeywell. Continuously on-site since 2006, the first phase of the campus transformation included a 460,000 square foot repositioning and build-to-suit for GMAC Residential Mortgage HQ. Norwood’s efforts earned an Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Eastern PA Chapter.
In subsequent phases, Norwood’s Special Projects Division, NCS, has lead the completion of 110,000 square foot in renovations to common areas, the demolition of 80,000 square foot of vacant warehouse space to realign the building footprint, the construction of new façade and courtyard with landscaped walking paths and a tiered sitting area, and the completion of upgrades to the tech lounge.
Notable tenant fit-out projects include Toll Brothers Headquarters (175,000 square feet), Ashfield Healthcare (80,000 square feet), AON (72,000 square feet), Ally Financial, Ditech, and Ocwen.
This campus is thought to be one of the most successful repositioning projects in the history of suburban Philadelphia.
