Norwood is partnering with LaSalle College High School to deliver a 58,000 square foot athletic center that seamlessly links the existing campus to Meehan Field and Flannery Field. Conceived as a flexible, state-of-the-art environment, the facility will support athletic performance, expand student wellness opportunities, and serve as a vibrant hub for campus life and events. The program includes a competition-size gymnasium with spectator seating, dedicated strength and fitness areas, a wrestling room, an erg (rowing) training room, squash courts, and home and visitor locker rooms with integrated training and therapy spaces. The building also provides offices for coaching and athletic staff, along with essential support spaces including restrooms, a welcoming lobby, concession and ticketing areas, storage, and mechanical and utility rooms.
