Norwood Constructions Services (NCS), the special projects division of The Norwood Company, has recently commenced work on several corporate interior projects, including global headquarters for international companies Crown Holdings, CSL Behring, and Bentley Systems.
Located in Yardley, PA, the new 55,000 square foot global headquarters of Crown Holdings will house all administrative functions for the company, which is a leading supplier of food, beverage and consumer packaging to companies around the world. Ranked at 338 in the 2018 Fortune 500, Crown is one of the largest publicly-traded companies based in the Philadelphia area. NCS is collaborating with interior designer Meyer Associates and engineer Bala Consulting on the new space, which will feature an open plan with extensive break-out and collaboration areas, a corporate training facility, and an executive suite with a boardroom and meeting spaces. Construction will be completed in the fall of 2018.
CSL Behring, a global specialty biotechnology company, has also selected Norwood to expand their corporate headquarters presence in King of Prussia, PA. NCS is building out 100,000 square feet of space over five floors at CSL’s newly leased building at 500 North Gulph Rd. Over the last several years, Norwood has completed the build-out of several hundred thousand square feet of new space for CSL Behring at other nearby buildings.
NCS has also recently commenced work on a renovation for Bentley Systems’ headquarters in Exton, PA. Bentley Systems is a global leader in software solutions for the architectural, engineering, and construction industries. Like CSL Behring, Norwood has completed several previous projects at Bentley’s headquarters campus.
Joe Mitchell, President & CEO of Norwood stated, “We are privileged and honored to be selected for these critically important projects. That these international companies continue to rely on NCS for the global headquarters projects is a testament to the quality and professionalism of our NCS team.”
