The Associated Builders and Contractors of Eastern Pennsylvania recently honored The Norwood Company with two awards of excellence at their 2016 gala.
Guardian Life Insurance Company, a 280,000 square foot build-to-suit in Bethlehem, PA, was named winner of the Commercial-Office category. Serving as design-builder, Norwood worked closely with the design team to integrate BIM technology and streamline the design and construction phases. The base building is LEED certified and the tenant fit-out is registered for LEED Gold certification, pending final review.
Daylesford Crossing, a 78-unit, 95-bed Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Paoli, PA, received a merit commendation in the Institutional-Senior Living category. Serving as construction manager, Norwood collaborated with design development team to complete the project on behalf of Sage Senior Living.
