Norwood acted as design-builder for the expansion and renovation of multiple buildings over 1.5-year phased schedule. Working on behalf of a global company specializing in the development and supply of products for the pharmaceutical industry, Norwood completed renovations to existing lab, office, and warehouse spaces and constructed a new cGMP quality control lab.
The team completed extensive foundation and structural upgrades to allow for a new warehouse. Numerous MEP utility relocations and facility shutdowns were carefully coordinated so Colorcon could maintain occupancy without disruption to ongoing production of their products.
Representing our second successful partnership, Norwood also constructed Colorcon’s 90,000 square foot LEED Gold Headquarters and Technology Center in Harleysville, PA, including 30,000 SF of lab space. The project received an Excellence in Construction Award from Associated Builders and Contractors, Eastern PA Chapter.
