Serving as design-builder, Norwood completed a 450,000 square foot facility for McKesson Corporation, a leader in pharmaceutical distribution and health care supplies. The new building features specialized material handling equipment complete with pick/pack mezzanine, conveyors, and portions of fully-automated shipping and packaging consistent with pharma grade facilities. Norwood’s team collaborated with all stakeholders to deliver the project via a turn-key design-build delivery method. This effort involved upgrades to roof structure, foundations, floor slabs, and MEP systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
