Serving as design-builder, Norwood constructed an 800,000 square foot northeast regional mixing center in Canandaigua, NY, for Pactiv Corporation, a producer of specialty consumer product and food packaging. Due to the success of the project, Pactiv chose to partner with Norwood on additional projects, including a 350,000 square feet warehouse distribution center in Jacksonville, IL and a 150,000 square feet expansion in Malvern, AR. Norwood also provided preconstruction services for two facilities totaling 1.2 million square feet in Bakersfield, CA and served as Owner’s Rep for a 591,000 square feet facility in San Bernardino, CA. Most recently, Norwood completed renovations to a 10,000 square foot facility in Downingtown, PA and served as design-builder on another new 100,000 square foot facility in South Carolina. Working with Wells Vehicle Electronics, a Pactiv sister company, Norwood also delivered a 63,000 square foot facility expansion and renovation in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Norwood helped to coordinate and secure economic development incentives and tax relief through various government entities.
