Norwood provided construction management services for Penn Medicine Southern Chester County, a 73,000 square foot ambulatory care center. Collaborating with the design team and project stakeholders during the planning phase, Norwood provided extensive design-assist services.
The new facility offers comprehensive, modernized, and accessible outpatient healthcare services including a strategic mix of family care and specialty care practices. Examples include physical therapy, eye care, and diagnostic laboratory. A comprehensive radiology suite offers MRI, CT, X-ray, digital mammography, DEXA, and ultrasound. Additional services include an after-hours family practice care and an ambulatory surgery center. To optimize patient and provider comfort, the facility also features a concierge and a café.
The project received an Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Eastern PA Chapter.
