The Associated Builders and Contractors of Eastern Pennsylvania recently honored The Norwood Company for the construction of facilities in three different categories at their 2015 Awards of Excellence.
Penn Medicine Southern Chester County, an integrated ambulatory care center in West Grove, PA, was named winner of the “Institutional-Healthcare” category. Mars Drinks North America, a 200,000 square foot headquarters and food-grade manufacturing facility, was named “Best Green Build” and received a Merit commendation in the Industrial category. Mars Drinks was recently certified LEED Gold with sustainable features that include rainwater harvesting systems, electrochromic tinted windows, and the incorporation of 20% recycled materials.
