Collaborating with Wulff Architects, Norwood served as Construction Manager to build the “Coolest. Office. Ever.”, as described by Philadelphia Magazine in their March cover story on “Amazing Spaces” in the Philadelphia area. Located in Chalfont, PA, AWeber Communications is a cutting-edge email marketing company whose corporate headquarters space was designed to reflect the company’s core values: collaboration, innovation, sustainability, and fun. It features mobile work stations, writable wall surfaces, a living wall, and 2-story rain curtain, duel 14-foot sliding boards, movie theater, video game stations, yoga room, and full-service complimentary kitchen and has been dubbed “The Way-Better-Than-Cubicle Workspace” by Philadelphia Magazine.
This was the second recent Norwood project featured in a prominent publication. Healthcare Design Magazine recently featured Norwood’s LourdesCare Cherry Hill facility in their online edition, citing it as an outstanding model for the delivery of affordable, convenient, and integrated outpatient healthcare services. With Norwood acting as design-builder, this former supermarket was repurposed into a 55,000 square foot ambulatory care center. The facility was designed through a cooperative effort between Alberto & Associates and Environetics.
