Norwood completed an 84,000 square foot interior renovation and fit-out on behalf of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and in compliance with the General Services Administration (GSA). The project included extensive security measures including rooms with STC-50 rated sound proofing, a SCIF enclosure, and blast proofing. The exterior is also secured by bollards able to withstand 5,000 lbs of impact traveling at 45 mph. The Incident Resource Center is equipped with 24-hour back-up generators and utilities. The facility also features state-of-the-art AV systems and aesthetic upgrades.
