The Norwood Company was recently honored with 2 Awards of Excellence at the 2014 Associated Builders and Contractors’ Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter dinner.
Vanguard IT Divisional Headquarters won the Excellence Award for Best Commercial Project. Norwood collaborated with designers D2CA Architects and Francis Caufmann on the 6-story, 200,000 square foot build-to-suit office, which also includes a 700-car parking garage. The project, registered for LEED Gold certification, features a high-efficiency chilled water HVAC system and a progressive, synergetic, open office layout with raised flooring and flexible work stations.
CrossPoint at Valley Forge won the Excellence Award for Best Restoration/Renovation Over $2 Million. The project encompassed the comprehensive redevelopment of 2 office buildings to create one larger, fully-modernized, 275,000 square foot corporate campus. Project designer, D2CA Architects, Norwood, and the project team anticipate LEED Gold certification shortly.
