Norwood constructed a LEED Gold certified 70,000 square foot corporate headquarters interior build-out for AWeber Communications, a fast-growing developer of email marketing software. This one-of-a-kind headquarters showcases cutting-edge technology, youthful design, and fully integrates the company’s core values: collaboration, innovation, sustainability and fun. The ultra-modern décor includes bold colors, mobile workstations, writable wall surfaces, and playful furniture. Dual sliding boards let out in the lobby atrium, which features a living wall and 2-story rain curtain. Additional amenities include a game room, movie room, yoga room, and an outdoor café. The facility’s sustainability design elements include daylight harvesting, superior HVAC equipment and controls, intelligent data center design, and energy efficient appliances. Additionally, 100 percent of all carbon emissions are offset through renewable energy certificates.
