Malvern, PA
Working on behalf of a large Real Estate Investment Trust, Norwood constructed a 200,000 square foot LEED Gold certified build-to-suit office and 700-car parking garage for a global financial services company. Located in the Great Valley Corporate Center, the 6-story building features high efficiency chilled water HVAC system and an all-glass and metal panel façade, which provides abundant natural lighting. The interior features a 2-story open glass lobby, a monumental open stair showcasing a stainless steel/glass railing, and views of Quarry Lake. A progressive open office environment optimizes collaboration through the use of modular work stations and raised flooring. This design enables flexible work area layouts and datacom access. Additional amenities include a full-service cafeteria and dining area, a data center, conference rooms and informal meeting areas, and a fully-equipped fitness center.
The project received an Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Eastern PA Chapter.
